On a good day, you can swim with the bull sharks in deep water, and then float with a manta or two during your safety stop. Bull shark season is from May to November.
EL GRAN SUSTO. (THE BIG SCARE)
The Big Scare is the star attraction. Expect to see large schools of snappers and jacks, spotted eagle rays, devil rays, zebra eels, manta rays and the occasional whale shark. And of course not forget the 12 foot Bull Sharks cruising the sandy bottom.

Los Arcos (The Arches).
Los Arcos impresses before all for being the most extraordinary dive site of the Gulf of Papagayo for it's morphology with a steep rock which is pierced by 2 under-water arches. One of them is is just big enough for a diver and leads into a dome that opens to the sky with a chimney. The other being huge for a whole groupe of divers.
